Shimmering Christmas Tree Earrings

A Christmas tree made entirely of light

Dark brown, almost black, and a tree built out of hundreds of gold points of light against it. A star burns at the top, ribbons of gold curve across the lower branches, and the light scatters out into the dark at the base as though it's reflecting off a wet floor.

There's no outline, no trunk, no baubles. Just the shape of a tree suggested by where the light is.

The oval glass sits domed over the print in a silver-tone setting with a fine beaded edge, which magnifies the whole thing and makes the gold move as they swing. At 45mm they're the biggest of our cabochon drops.

This is the quiet end of Christmas. Dark, gold, and grown-up, for the evening do or the carols night where the reindeer antlers would be a bit much.

The components are nickel-free and lead-free, so they suit sensitive ears through a long night.
