Tiny flower earrings with a whole garden in them

A little pot of flowers, hanging from your ear, requiring nothing from you at all.

Each earring is cut from fine metal so the light comes straight through the gaps. The pot is tall and tapered with ribs running across it, the plain terracotta shape you'd find at the back of any shed. Out of the top comes a proper little garden: five-petal flowers nodding on thin stems, a few still closed into buds, and long grassy blades pushing up between them.

At 40mm they're small and light. The detail is fine enough that people notice them close up and gentle enough that they'll go with anything.

Pink is bright and warm. Green is a fresh leafy shade, and dark green is deeper and more forest, which is also why it turns up in our St Patrick's Day picks every March.
